Artist Statement
I feel a moral responsibility to pursue something higher, while inspired to include wildlife's majestic presence in everyday life, to reflect the motion and mood of the subject at hand with nature's infinite views and changing light. Sometimes, levity calls me to render the whimsical in my introspection. Understanding myself is part of my work.
Bronze is my means to feel at home. The urge of my avocation is raw and silent. I stumble unto grace, and a space that provides a certain breathing room for spirit. It's my reality. It is despair. The nature of my work isn't a great and performing glory, it is a desperate and difficult search within... as all I want is to see God.
